RPC has added Sumyutha Sivamani as a partner in its Singapore office – where it operates joint law venture RPC Premier Law – further strengthening its insurance capability across the region and accelerating the expansion of its cyber and data practice. Sivamani joins from Clyde & Co, bringing over 14 years’ experience in insurance, with a particular focus on complex cyber risk, incident response and data privacy matters. She has advised insurers, reinsurers and multinational clients across Asia on high-value, multi-jurisdictional cyber incidents, coverage disputes and regulatory investigations. Beyond her core cyber practice, she has deep experience across financial lines and property & casualty insurance, advising on coverage, regulatory and defence matters, and will bolster RPC’s broader Singapore insurance capabilities. Sivamani will play a key role in expanding the firm’s cyber insurance offering and enhancing the firm’s data privacy and cybersecurity advisory capabilities in Singapore and across Asia, while also supporting the continued growth of its wider insurance practice.
