A&O Shearman has added leading financial services regulatory (FSR) lawyer Hannah Cassidy as a partner in Hong Kong to lead the firm’s FSR efforts. Cassidy has substantial experience advising financial institutions, investment managers, fintech firms, listed companies and their senior individuals on complex advisory and regulatory matters, including senior management accountability, payments, cybersecurity, market abuse, anti-money laundering, fraud and scams, client assets, and complex licensing issues. Her expertise spans complex cross-border matters across Asia and other key global financial markets. Cassidy joins from Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, where she led their financial services regulatory practice in Asia.
