Cedar White Bradley (CWB) has added Fiona Robertson to it’s Dubai office. In doing so, the firm has established it’s Media and Technology practice. Fiona joins CWB from Al Tamimi & Company where she was a senior counsel and the head of Media. She has over 25 years’ experience in the media and entertainment law and specialises in providing legal advice to broadcasters, local and international producers, global content platforms, music platforms and entities working at all levels of the media industry.


 

K&L Gates Straits Law, the Singapore office of global law firm K&L Gates, has added Marius Toime as a partner in the firm’s corporate practice. He joins the firm from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. For the last 15 years, Toime has advised multinationals and global funds on complex cross-border corporate transactions and projects throughout Southeast Asia and other key Asian markets, especially in the sustainable energy (including renewables), resources and infrastructure sectors. He was once seconded to work at a leading Indonesian law firm, where he helped foreign investors and lenders assess target opportunities and successfully structure, develop and invest in opportunities across a broad range of sectors.
