| Winston & Strawn has further expanded its operations in Asia with the addition of Mabel Lui as partner. She most recently led DLA Piper’s corporate group in Asia and has advised clients on China-related business matters for more than 30 years. Her practice primarily focuses on corporate commercial and real estate work in Hong Kong and China dealing with M&As and investments of a diverse nature, as well as both inbound and outbound cross-border transactions. Lui served as an adviser to the foreign investor in the first Sino-foreign joint venture in China in 1978 and was on the Hong Kong team of counsel advising one of the first H share issues by Chinese corporations with dual listing in the HKSE and NYSE in 1993. |
