Watson was formerly with Mars Incorporated as regional general counsel for North America and has worked in London, Dubai, New York and Washington DC, in addition to Sydney. Prior to joining Mars, he was a corporate partner at Minter Ellison, Sydney. He has advised the most senior executives on M&A and joint venture transactions, crisis management, product recalls and food law and policy.
Barun Law has added Tae Young Ahn as a Partner to their Korea practice. His core practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and dispute resolution. His prior experience includes outbound-investment matters involving Korean companies.
Clyde & Co has appointed Gilbert Kwok as a partner in the firm’s Asia construction practice in Hong Kong. Previously a partner at Stephenson Harwood, Kwok has extensive experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters relating to the construction industry.
