KhattarWong has announced the arrival of new partner Irving Choh to the team’s litigation department. Choh, a strong commercial litigator, will manage a wide range of dispute cases ranging from commercial to matrimonial and criminal litigation. He has acted for numerous clients in various matrimonial and family disputes and his cases have been widely publicised in the local press. Choh has the distinction of being the first lawyer to act for the blogger who was charged under the Sedition Act in 2005. He has also successfully represented clients in shareholders’, employment and corporate/ joint venture disputes, including arbitration matters, both locally and overseas. Choh joins the firm from the office of Rajah & Tann.

KhattarWong also welcomes Partner Chua Beng Chye from the ranks of Rajah and Tann. Chua is a noted banking litigator specializing in personal and corporate insolvency, debt restructuring, judicial management and schemes of arrangement. Chua joins the firm from his role in the Business Finance & Insolvency practice group of Rajah & Tann.

Ng Yeow Khoon has joined KhattarWong’s litigation department as partner. Ng is a former partner at Shook Lin & Bok and has been practicing law for more than a decade, specializing in banking and finance-related litigation, insolvency and restructuring and general commercial litigation.
