With a career spanning more than 25 years in Asia, Schooneman has extensive experience in advising a broad spectrum of Thai and international public and private corporations, private equity funds, financial institutions and government agencies on domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity investments, joint ventures, project and corporate financings, real estate developments and general corporate matters. He was previously a partner and head of the international practice group of Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners (formerly White & Case Thailand), focusing on the investment activities of Australian, European and US corporations in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as on outbound transactions for Thai clients.
