Mr. Thuan has over 13 years of experience working at the People’s Court of Ho Chi Minh City, including more than 8 years as assistant to the Chief Judge of the Civil Division. Since transitioning to private practice in 2003, he has held key litigation roles at leading firms including VILAF – Hong Duc and Phuoc & Partners, where he became Partner in 2009. In 2019, he co-founded Global Vietnam Lawyers.
Mr. Thuan’s practice spans labor, commercial, maritime, insurance, construction, and criminal litigation and arbitration. He has acted in numerous high-profile disputes, such as representing multinational clients in labor, construction, maritime, and insurance cases, enforcing foreign arbitral awards in Vietnam, and advising on M&A-related disputes.
