At this webinar, Seyfarth Shaw’s Partner, Kathryn Weaver will discuss the significance of implementing clear and comprehensive policies regarding the usage of AI language models like ChatGPT in a workplace.

The webinar will cover the following topics:

  • Is it safest/easiest simply to ban the use of generative AI/ChatGPT from the workplace?
  • If you did ban it, what would you be missing out on? Would you lose a competitive edge?
  • What are the risks to a company if it does not have a generative AI/ChatGPT policy in place? E.g., breach of confidentiality obligations, data protection risks, liability issues, inaccurate or discriminatory data being relied upon.
  • When drafting a generative AI/ChatGPT policy, what should you include? We will talk through the key components of such a policy, using real examples from policies we have recently drafted for clients.
