Allen & Gledhill has advised Bank of China Ltd Singapore Branch, DBS Bank Ltd, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp Ltd and United Overseas Bank Ltd in respect of the S$520 million (US$377.7m) syndicated secured loan facilities to refinance the existing loan facilities of Prime Asset Holdings Ltd. The financing was arranged by the four banks. The loan facilities were secured by security over the retail and office components of the Parkway Parade Property in Singapore. Appleby has acted as Cayman counsel to Get Nice Financial Group Ltd and Luen Wong Group Holdings Ltd in respect of their respective listings on the Main Board and Growth Enterprise Market of the HKSE. Allen & Gledhill has advised Bank of Singapore in respect of the acquisition of the wealth and investment management business of Barclays Bank PLC in Singapore and Hong Kong for approximately US$320 million in cash. This deal is the second largest private banking deal of the Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp Ltd group since 2009 and will help deepen its presence in South-east Asia, Greater China and the Middle East.
