After 24 years with UK magic circle firm Linklaters, Andrew Roberts has been lured in-house, having accepted a position with energy company Fontenergy. Roberts, who was engaged as Linklaters’ former managing partner for Asia for the past ten years, has been working with the company since its foundation in 2006. During his years of practice, he has developed expertise in the areas of international capital markets and company law, whilst focusing predominantly on emerging markets. He was also involved in the development of Linklaters’ Middle Eastern practice. Roberts began his career in New Zealand in 1981.
