| Linklaters has appointed Hong Kong-based partner Marc Harvey to head the firm’s global litigation practice, with the appointment of an Asia-based lawyer a nod to the importance of the region to the firm. Harvey, who is also the firm’s co-head for the Greater China region, replaces Françoise Lefèvre in the role, who is returning to full-time client work. A leading litigation and arbitration practitioner, Harvey has been with the firm since 1997. His experience covers multi-jurisdictional and domestic commercial litigation, international and domestic arbitration and regulatory investigations, and his client base includes many of the world’s largest financial institutions, corporations and professional service organisations. Harvey’s recent experience includes representing the 16 “Minibond Banks” in the SFC minibond settlement and representing banks at Legislative Subcommittee hearings relating to Lehman-related structured products. |
