One the top Japanese firms, Mori Hamada & Matsumoto (MHM) has announced that they will be integrating their Thailand practice with Chandler & Thong-ek Law Offices Limited (CTLO). The new firm created will be named ‘Chandler MHM Limited’ and will be headed by Satoshi Kawai of MHM and Niwes Phancharoenworakul who is the Managing Partner of CTLO.

Both the firms have been working very closely together since MHM opened its Bangkok Desk in 2013 inside the offices of CTLO. Then in 2015, MHM opened their separate office in Bangkok in the same building as CTLO, working together to support their Japanese clients in Thai related legal matters as well as exchanging secondees.

This integration will help MHM not only to increase their capability and capacity of work in Thailand, but also further integrate their offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Yangon and their Jakarta desk as the ASEAN integration progresses.
