Tay & Partners has appointed Lee Lin Li as IP partner and head of intellectual property and technology. Lee has extensive experience in dealing with various intellectual property rights, such as trademarks, copyright, patent and industrial designs, and the enforcement of these rights through the relevant government agencies. A registered trade mark and industrial design agent in Malaysia, she also focuses on consumer laws, technology laws, domain name disputes, franchising, licensing, personal data protection and dispute resolution. Lee graduated from the University of Leeds with an LLB in 1999, obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice in 2000 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an advocate and solicitor in 2001.
