| Tay & Partners has expanded its IP practice group with the appointment of Cheah Chiew Lan as partner. Chiew Lan was previously an IP partner from Shearn Delamore & Co. Her primary focus is on all aspects of trademark prosecution, searches and she advises on registrability and trade mark opposition proceedings. She also advises clients on the protection and maintenance of their IP rights, including IP related agreements as well as on issues relating to personal data protection.
James Watson joined Vinson & Elkins’ Tokyo office as a partner in their global energy transactions/Projects practice group in April. His expertise lies in oil and gas exploration, power projects, LNG and renewables. Watson was previously joint head of energy and infrastructure at Herbert Smith in Tokyo. |
