| John Champion has joined the Singapore office of Clyde & Co. His arrival increases the number of fee-earners in the Singapore office to 10. Champion has joined the firm’s insurance group from Holman Fenwick & Willan where he dealt with regional dispute resolution with a primary focus on marine, energy, commercial and industrial insurance and reinsurance.
Michelle Taylor has joined Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP as a partner in the firm’s Hong Kong office. Taylor, a leading Asia-focused securitisation and structured finance lawyer, has advised in numerous prominent transactions including the first CMBS securitisation in the People’s Republic of China, the first whole business securitisation in Asia and the first future flow securitisation in Korea. Timothy Shin has joined Woo Yun Kang Jeong & Han as a US attorney. Shin previously was a Judicial Law Clerk at the Washington State Court of Appeals, a Law Clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Major Crimes Division, a Judicial Extern at the US District Court, Southern District of New York, and a Law Clerk at Park & Sutton LLP. Shin, admitted to practice in the States of California and Washington, practices primarily in the areas of finance and real estate law. |
