| DLA Piper has appointed David Crookston as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Crookston has been recruited from JP Morgan and will utilise his operational and strategic experience to benefit DLA Piper’s service areas. The new role was created in 2006 following a management review and will see all the service areas – business development, HR, IT and facilities, knowledge and risk management coordinated under his leadership. Crookston has more than 20 years financial services experience and will work closely with service area directors supporting DLA Piper’s 42 offices in Europe, Asia and the Middle East in his new role. Crookston will report directly to joint CEO, Nigel Knowles. He will also be a member of the international executive. |
