Clyde & Co has strengthened its international arbitration team with the addition of Steven Lim as partner. Lim, who joined the firm on 1 October 2010 from the Hong Kong office of Baker Botts, previously practised in Singapore for 15 years, and has more than fifteen years of dispute resolution experience, focusing on international arbitration. He has significant experience with oil and gas, energy, construction, shipbuilding, commercial and M&A arbitrations, and has represented parties in large and complex arbitrations before major arbitral institutions, including the ICC, LCIA and SIAC, and under the UNCITRAL rules.

Daniel Ginting Law Firm, Allen & Overy’s associated office in Indonesia, has appointed Harun Reksodiputro as a partner in the firm’s corporate practice. Reksodiputro joins the firm from leading Indonesian firm Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners, where he was a partner. He has more than 16 years of experience advising multinational companies, prominent Indonesian business groups and Indonesian public companies on corporate transactions, including private and public M&As, joint ventures and disposals, and his experience is broad based across sectors including FIG (fixed income group), retail, energy and telecoms.

Norton Rose Group has bolstered its Singapore practice with the appointment of Anna Tipping as a corporate partner to head the firm’s insurance practice in Asia. Prior to relocating to Singapore, Tippling joined the firm’s London office in March 2010 as part of its corporate insurance team. Previously a counsel at Linklaters, she has a wealth of experience in the insurance arena in both the life and general sectors of the market. In addition, she has led both capital markets and structured finance transactions, as well as M&A, and also covers regulatory advice, distribution arrangements, corporate insurance programmes, reinsurance and general commercial transactions.
