RHTLaw Taylor Wessing has brought to its ranks veteran shipping lawyer Govindarajalu Asokan and general litigation lawyer Mimi Oh. They join as new partners to strengthen its litigation and dispute resolution practice. Widely regarded as a leader in admiralty and shipping law, Asokan brings with him 33 years of experience in commercial and shipping litigation, arbitration, insurance, tax, banking, domestic and international business transactions. He has published numerous papers on a variety of topics, such as marine insurance fraud, powers of arbitrators, oil pollution, banking secrecy, product liability and the tax benefits associated with Singapore-registered vessels. Prior to joining the firm, Oh practiced for 18 years and ran her own practice under the name of Mimi Oh & Associates. Her main areas of practice include general litigation, alternative dispute resolution and commercial arbitration.
