|White & Case has expanded its China M&A and capital markets practices with the appointment of Julian Chung as a partner in its Hong Kong office. With extensive experience in Greater China, he has spent 26 years advising on public M&A and equity capital markets transactions. His work covers both state and privately owned companies in China and other parts of Asia, as well as the listings of international companies in Hong Kong. He also brings experience in the mining and commodities sectors. Chung has advised on a number of major transactions, including Vale SA’s listing of its common shares and class A preferred shares in the form of depositary receipts on the HKSE. He also recently advised on the reverse takeover of China Daye Non-Ferrous Metals Mining Ltd through the injection of copper assets having a total value of approximately US$900 million.|
