| Korean law firm Shinwoo has appointed Sangyup Byon as partner. Byon joins the firm from Kim, Chang & Lee (formerly Kim & Company), where he was engaged as a senior associate in that firm’s banking & finance department. With expertise in project finance, especially Public-Private Partnerships, he has advised on many infrastructure projects in Korea including the Seosuwon-Osan-Pyungtaek highway project, the New Songdo International City development project, and more recently, in relation to the project financing of the Formula-1 Track Construction and Operation Project. Earlier in his career, Byon was engaged as the in-house counsel for the project finance department at Shinhan bank. |
