Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has appointed Brad Roach as a partner in the firm’s Singapore office. Roach joins from Hogan Lovells, where he led the oil and gas practice in Southeast Asia. With more than 18 years of experience, he advises developers of energy and infrastructure projects, with an emphasis on upstream and downstream sectors of the petroleum industry. He also advises companies on the acquisition and disposal of major energy assets. Roach advises companies on the negotiation of production sharing contracts with host governments, the acquisition and divestment of companies and participating interests, unitisation agreements and the sale and purchase of hydrocarbons. He practiced with White & Case from 2006 to 2008 and with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom from 1998 to 2006.
