| Peter Feros has recently joined Gilbert + Tobin and will lead the corporate taxation team. Feros was previously a tax partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He brings over 13 years of experience advising Australian listed and foreign multinational companies on Australian corporate taxation across a diverse range of industries including telecommunications, technology, entertainment, media, consumer product, industrial product and property.
John Schembri has also joined Gilbert + Tobin as head of the corporate finance team. He brings experience in financing construction and resources projects, property acquisition and general corporate financing. Schembri previously spent 18 years at Freehills, where his major areas of practice were structured and project financing and acquisition financing. Jack Su has joined JSM as head of the firm’s energy practice. He joins a 150 member strong global energy practice, and will be based in the Hong Kong office. Su has a solid track record in the mergers and acquisitions of energy, power and infrastructure entities in Asia and has been involved in projects totalling more than US$4 billion. He also has extensive experience in the development and financing of power and water projects. Joining the firm from Lovells, Su was previously in-house counsel for Vivendi Water, where he led the acquisitions and financing team in Asia. |
