Stephenson Harwood has appointed two new partners for its Greater China offices.
• Matthew Wong joins from Bird & Bird where he was a corporate partner. He specialises in corporate finance, capital markets, private equity, venture capital, foreign direct investments and M&As. He also advises on Hong Kong securities regulatory and compliance issues, as well as a wide range of commercial transactions. Wong has been practising in Hong Kong since 1994 and is also a solicitor admitted in England and Wales and in Australia.

• ChunFai (CF) Lui joins the firm from Baker & McKenzie’s Shanghai office where he was special counsel. He has wide-ranging experience in structuring, negotiating and executing M&As, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, and ensuring antitrust and regulatory approvals and compliance. He has been advising on regulatory risk issues in China, and formulating strategies for market entries.
