| Khaitan & Co has appointed Dr PK Agrawal as partner and head of the firm’s real estate practice in Delhi. He has extensive experience in both the academic and practical aspects of land matters and land laws and, a prolific writer, has authored 50 books including three volumes on land reform and land laws and one each on environmental and cyber laws. Dr Agrawal has been a law lecturer in India’s leading universities and has held numerous key government positions, including Director of Land Records, Survey Land Reform Commissioner, and Joint Secretary of the Department of Justice and the Ministry of Law and Justice. He finished his Bachelor of Laws from Allahabad University, his Master of Laws from Calcutta University and his Doctor of Laws from Allahabad University. Dr Agrawal is registered as an advocate with the Bar Council of West Bengal and is also a member of International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution, New Delhi. |
