Barnes was previously a corporate partner at Linklaters and has built a global reputation for high-level cross-border corporate transactions. He spent ten years in Hong Kong establishing the office and more recently was global head of corporate for six years where, until 2011, he played a pivotal role in the development of the firm’s business in Asia.
