HSA Advocates has added Shahen Pradhan as associate partner in the Mumbai office to further strengthen the firm’s dispute resolution practice. He was principal associate at J Sagar Associates (JSA). During his tenure at JSA, he was on secondment for a year with Slaughter and May’s London office. He has also worked under senior counsel A K Abhyankar. Pradhan’s expertise in dispute resolution includes extensive experience in litigation and arbitration in diverse areas of corporate and commercial disputes, land acquisition and port. He has primarily been practicing in the high courts, city civil court, company law board and various arbitral tribunals.
Vertices Partners has added Jeet Sengupta as a partner to lead the banking and finance, structured finance, special situations and stressed assets initiatives of the firm. He will be based out of the Mumbai office. Sengupta started his career in 2001 and has been a part of ELP, Amarchand and Juris.
