Morgan Lewis has continued to expand its global capital markets team with the addition of David (Changyu) Liao, who joins as a partner resident in Hong Kong to focus on debt capital markets. Liao advises corporate, investment bank and other financial institution clients from China and throughout Asia. He focuses on representing both underwriters and issuers in debt capital market transactions, and he has an extensive background in the issuance of investment grade bonds, high-yield bonds, and debt and equity hybrid instruments, as well as tender offer, exchange offer, consent solicitation and other liability management transactions in connection with debt securities that could be governed by US, UK or Hong Kong law.
