Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has added Grace Chong as Of Counsel in its Singapore office. As a member of the global financial regulatory practice group, her practice will focus on assisting a range of financial institutions with their most complex regulatory matters. Before joining Gibson Dunn, Chong practiced with the regulatory and digital business team at Simmons & Simmons in Singapore and Hong Kong, where she advised banks, asset managers and corporates on regulatory and fintech matters. She is a certified cybersecurity GIAC GLEG, IAPP CIPP/A/E and IAPP CIPM professional, and regularly conducts cybersecurity assessments and investigations in Asia. In addition, she is an International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Fellow of Information Privacy, and is part of the IAPP Women Leading Privacy Board. Chong is a board member of the Singapore Association of Cryptocurrency Enterprises and Startups (ACCESS), and serves on the ASEAN Advisory Board of the Global Association of Women in Payments. She is also a member of the AML Committee of the Law Society of Singapore.
