The interactive edition of the Feb 2023 issue of In-House Community (IHC) Magazine is now live (below). In this issue, we share the results of our IHC survey for 2022. We heard from in-house counsel hailing from 18 different jurisdictions on their current management of legal work and key concerns for the coming year. Most importantly, however, we share our respondents’ picks for Firms of the Year, 2022! Moving on to our usual fare, we are reminded that there are few certainties in life – evolving regulatory frameworks seemingly one of them! We take a look at a revamp of Vietnam’s financial markets to protect investors and simplify administrative processes (VILAF). The antitrust landscape in China is likewise facing a shake-up. We hear about the new “Shenzhen & Hong Kong” Arbitration Model, established with the mission of building an international arbitration hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in mind (SCIA). We also hear about Hong Kong’s new Outcome Related Fee Structure Arrangement for Arbitration, predicted to be a win for both legal practitioners and clients alike (Hill Dickinson).
