Howse Williams Bowers has added Heidi Lee as a partner in the corporate practice. Joining from Ashurst Hong Kong, Lee has extensive experience in M&As, public takeovers and regulatory and compliance work for Hong Kong-listed companies. She also has an established track record advising on equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs and secondary offerings in Hong Kong for both state-owned and privately owned companies in China and overseas as issuer’s or underwriters’ counsel.

Kochhar & Co has added Sarika Raichur as a partner in its New Delhi office. She joins the corporate practice group with focus on private equity and venture capital, following a merger of her practice with the firm. Her expertise includes general corporate and commercial, private equity, venture capital, fund formation and M&A. Prior to joining the firm, Raichur was the co-founding partner of Yuti Law Partners Advocates. Her previous stint included working with Khaitan & Co and the London office of pan-European law firm Noerr where she was a key member of the India desk. She also worked as an in-house counsel with Hong Kong-based private equity firm ADM Capital.

Sidley Austin has added Friven Yeoh as a partner. He has built a solid reputation advising clients in the resolution of high-stakes, complex business disputes and in multifaceted commercial litigation matters. Yeoh has advised multinational companies, as well as those based in Asia, including China, in proceedings conducted under the arbitration rules of many leading arbitral centers. He sits as an arbitrator in international cases. He also has represented clients before the Securities and Futures Commission in regulatory and enforcement matters.
