| Jones Day has announced the appointment of Joseph E Bauerschmidt to the firm’s capital markets practice. Based in Singapore, Bauerschmidt joins from Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in Hong Kong. Bauerschmidt’s principal focus has been on securities offerings in the public and private capital markets representing leading international investment banks as well as corporate issuers. In addition, he has worked on more than 30 capital markets offering for financial institutions. He has also regularly worked with oil and gas and oilfield service companies on Wall Street and since coming to Asia, he has worked on transactions involving PTT, Petronas, MISC, Petro Vietnam, PT Medco, Bangchak Petroleum, Essar Oil, BHP and SingaporeGas. |
