| Clyde & Co has appointed Jim Edmunds, formerly a senior partner of the world’s leading aviation firm, Beaumont & Son, to the firm’s Middle Eastern and Indian subcontinent practice, based in Dubai. His primary areas of expertise include banking, leasing, and project and asset finance, with particular emphasis on the aviation sector – including aircraft acquisition and disposal and the start up and running of airlines. His recent work has included advising on new start up airlines in Europe, the United States, India and Asia, aircraft lessors’ securitisation and insurance programmes, aircraft defence systems for airlines and other aircraft operators (both civil and military) and procurement and fit out contracts for various Head of State aircraft. |
