Fried Frank announced today that William Yoo has joined the firm’s Asia practice, resident in Hong Kong. Yoo specializes in both real estate equity and debt transactions and corporate finance. His real estate work includes structuring equity investments for off-shore investors. He has worked extensively with banks, financial institutions, private equity funds and investors, both based in Asia and looking to expand into Asia. He joins from Paul Hastings, Tokyo.

Minter Ellison has announced the arrival of Matthew Hibbins to its Hong Kong Corporate team. Previously a partner with a leading Australian law firm in Melbourne, Hibbins joins the firm with specialist corporate law experience in private equity transactions, joint ventures, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions and corporations and securities laws.
