| Deacons has strengthened its debt capital markets (DCM) capability with the appointment of Kevin Tong from King & Wood Mallesons. Tong joins as a partner and has extensive experience in DCM transactions, with a focus on offshore Renminbi capital raising instruments, having been actively involved in the offshore Renminbi space since it opened in 2007. He also specialises in a wide range of derivatives and structured products, as well as new financial product platforms in Hong Kong. Tong has advised major financial institutions and issuers on a number of landmark and award-winning transactions. He is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong and in England and Wales, and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. |
