| Mark C Brooks has joined Morrison & Foerster LLP’s Hong Kong office as a partner in the firm’s global real estate practice. His practice focuses on real estate and private equity transactions throughout Asia including China, India, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau and the Philippines. Brooks has specific expertise in the acquisition, development and joint ventures of hotels/serviced apartments, technology parks, office towers, special economic zones and high-end residential projects. He joins the firm from Paul Hastings.
Martin Downey has joined Blank Rome Solicitors & Notaries in Hong Kong in the firm’s commercial litigation group. Downey has practiced in Asia for over 20 years and joins from the Hong Kong office of Heller Ehrman LLP, where he was a partner and head of the asia dispute resolution practice and co-chair of the international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution practice. His practice consists of a broad range of commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings in Hong Kong, Asia, and internationally. |
