Colin Law has joined O’Melveny & Myers LLP as a partner in its Asia practice and will reside in the firm’s Hong Kong office. Law is a highly regarded M&A and corporate finance specialist and joins O’Melveny from Lovells. His wide-ranging corporate practice covers international capital markets, cross-border M&A transactions, and inbound investment transactions. He has advised leading investment banks and corporates on international public equity and debt offerings and listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He also has 14 years experience representing foreign companies doing business in China. More recently, he assisted a number of leading Chinese state-owned enterprises with the development of their global strategies including advising on some of the largest overseas acquisitions and joint ventures by Chinese companies.
