Kowit Somwaiya has over 30 years’ experience in laws on banking, corporate, foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions , intellectual property, IT, telecoms and litigation. He established LawPlus Ltd. in 2003 and LawPlus Myanmar Ltd. in 2013. Currently Kowit is the Chair of the INTA Harmonization of Trademark Law and Practice Committee, the Co-Chair of the INTA Global Advisory Council-Asia Pacific. He is a director of IPAT and a member of the APAA (representing Thailand on its Anti-Counterfeiting Committee), the IBA, the IACC, the WCO and the ASEAN IPA.
