The winning teams, which have demonstrated that they can truly stand inside the shoes of their clients and provide inspiring service, will be‎ announced at the In-House Community Counsels of the Year Awards Celebration & Dinner, taking place on Thursday, May 30, 2019 in Hong Kong. To identify the very best examples of client excellence, we canvassed legal providers and asked them to provide examples of:

  • budget-orientated project management for a client;
  • advice to a client regarding productivity and efficiency; and
  • exceeding client expectations.

The judges are:

Nigel Francis, senior consultant with Hong Kong law firm YTL, formerly head of the Hong Kong office and the dispute resolution and employment practice at Addleshaw Goddard.

Doreen Jaeger-Soong, managing director at Hughes-Castell (HK) – leader and mentor across the company’s Asia offices.

Clinton Swan, formerly on Clyde & Co’s management team and head of business development for the Middle East, North Africa and Asia Pacific.

Nick Ferguson, managing editor of Asian-mena Counsel, magazine for the In-House Community.

In addition to the Visionary awards, we will also announce our overall In-House Community Team of the Year, industry and specialist category winners, In-House Counsel of the Year, External Counsel of the Year and Deal Firm of the Year at the In-House Community Counsels of the Year Awards Celebration & Dinner.
