Our client is renowned for being one of the world's largest film processor; the largest independent manufacturer and distributor of DVDs; and, a leading global supplier of set-top boxes and gateways. They now seek a legal counsel to join its well established APAC team and assume primary responsibility for legal affairs in India and South East Asia. The position will be based in Bangalore and involve a certain amount of travel. To be considered, candidates must be admitted to practice law in India and have gained 6 to 8 years' post qualification experience at an international law firm or MNC as well as considerable knowledge and experience in handling company secretarial/ corporate/ commercial law matters. This stand-alone role will require the ability to work autonomously reporting into the General Counsel based in Hong Kong although also working closely with the local management/ business team.
