On July 5, over 120 in-house legal and compliance counsel and company directors gathered at the Renaissance Shanghai in Pudong for the 4th annual In-House Community Risk & Compliance Symposium, China. With opportunities to share and discuss the key issues facing those with a responsibility for reducing and mitigating the risks faced by their organisations, the day encompassed informative workshops addressing: ‘Cybersecurity Risks’, ‘The Impact of Recent Legislation on Anti-Bribery Law Enforcement by the AIC’ and ‘Bribery and Corruption across the Asia Pacific’ hosted by Debevoise & Plimpton, Herbert Smith Freehills, and King & Wood Mallesons.

The day closed with our unique ‘Game of Counter-party Risk’, a collaborative game in which delegates worked within teams to resolve ‘life-like’ risk senarios, that reinforced the lessons learned from the earlier sessions, with the opportunity of prizes.

Thanks go to all the aforementioned co-hosts for their participation and support of this year’s event.
